The book is devoted to one of the most important issues of modern urgent abdominal surgery - endogenous intoxication syndrome. It sets out materials on the conceptual rethinking of the pathogenesis of this syndrome from the standpoint of approval of exceptional significance at the beginning of the disease of catabolic (membrane -demonstrative) phenomena due to oxidative stress and excessive activity of phospholipase. A new approach to the prevention of the progression of surgical endotoxicosis is presented, based on the timely use of membrane -stabilizing drugs, the vector of which is also aimed at restoring the functional status of the organs of the detoxification system.
