Endometriosis and ovarian cancer. Levakov S.A., Zaratyants O.V., Antipova N.V.

The publication presents modern concepts of etiology and pathogenesis of endometriosis. New epigenetic aspects of the development of this disease are considered, based on the results of the authors of studies, which indicate a high risk of malignant transformation of endometrioid ovary cysts. The results of a comprehensive examination using modern diagnostics of more than 300 patients with endometriosis and ovarian cancer are set out. The algorithms of examination and treatment of patients are proposed, depending on the severity of the pathological process, taking into account the oncological alertness.
