Engineering geology. Textbook. Trofimov V.T.

The textbook discusses the theoretical and substantial provisions of engineering geology and its scientific areas. Its structure consists of five parts. The first of them characterized theoretical grounds, content, structure and tasks of engineering geology, its position in the system of geological knowledge. In the second, third and fourth parts, the fundamental positions, the structure and content of three scientific areas of engineering geology are presented: primer, engineering geodynamics and regional engineering geology, respectively. In the final, fifth, units consider the general provisions of the methodology of engineering and geological studies, their implementation in the system of engineering and geological surveys for construction.
