The purpose of the textbook is to form the main skills of the basic skills of using the English language as a means of information activity and professional communication. The development of students' skills and skills of reading, auditing and speaking in English on the material of vocabulary and grammatical structures typical of medical literature is envisaged. The publication contains original popular science texts, lexical, grammatical and communicative exercises, grammatical comments, reference materials and the English-Russian dental dictionary (with transcription). The textbook is included in the complex of textbooks for dentists, developed by the teachers of the Department of Language Communication of the Moscow State Medical and Dental University named after A.I. Evdokimova and including the “New English Dictionary for Dentists”, manuals for extracurricular reading, as well as manuals for the development of conversational speech skills.
