Enoch's book. Old Testament Apocrypha

The book of Enoch is considered one of the most significant apocrypha of the Old Testament. Until the XVIII century, this text, written, presumably between the 3rd and 1st centuries BC. e., in Europe was unknown. He was found in the Ethiopian Bible, where he is considered canonical.

In his book, the Old Testament Patriarch Enoch, the great -grandfather of Noah, told about his journey to heaven, about his visions and prophecies. He is revered as the founder of writing. And, according to prediction, he will return to Earth during the Antichrist.

The book is presented in the translation of Archpriest Alexander Vasilievich Smirnov, implemented in 1888.
