Enrichment. Criticism of goods. Boltansky L., Esker A.
Boltansky and Arno Escher recreate the transformation of capitalism in Western Europe since the last quarter of the 20th century, which is noted by the deioralization and intensified operation of resources. The scope of this transformation is found only with the convergence of areas, which are often considered separately: art, especially plastic, culture, antiques trafficking, creating funds and museums, an industry of luxury and tourism. All of them are based on the exploitation of the past.
This type of economy is Boltansky and the ESKER is called the enrichment economy. Such an economy is based not so much on the production of new things, but on the extraction of profit from trade things that are intended mainly rich and which form for the rich, trading in these things, the source of enrichment.
