Entrepreneurship in the Arctic

The book summarizes the author’s long-term research and observations, which were started back in the 1990s during work at the Magadan North-Eastern Research Institute, then in the State Socialist Revolutionary of Russia, the Council for the Study of Productive Forces and Moscow State University named after M.. It made an attempt to look at an Arctic entrepreneur from different levels: on the scale of the Arctic as a whole, its individual regions and cities, finally, individual individuals and small businesses. Separately characterized typical entrepreneurs in the field of business services and nomadic entrepreneurs (deer of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug). The book is of interest to those who are interested in the modern problems of the Arctic of Russia, Russian entrepreneurship (in its special zonal version), unexpected paradoxes in the study of the development of the regions, when obvious, seemingly truths, are suddenly questioned. The author hopes that the book will be useful to teachers, students and graduate students of Russian universities, employees of the municipal administration, bodies of federal executive and legislative power, colleagues -scientists - to everyone who is involved in the exciting process of theoretical and practical arrangement of the Russian Arctic.
