Erousmit. Sinclair L.
In the novel by an American writer, Nobel laureate, master and expert on the psychology of the Central American, Lewis Sinclair, Erousmit, the young man-idealist Martin Erousmit, after graduating from a medical institution, dreams of devoting himself to work for the benefit of people. The novel talks about medicine and people in it-rude-honest, despising money and titles, “believing in laboratory analysis more than in dogma and slogans” and opening new means and vaccines in the fight against epidemics.
On a par with the novel “Babbit”, the story and fate of the young learning physician is recognized as the best work of Lewis Sinclair as an example of a psychological novel on the topic “Man and his business.”
