In this book, belonging to the pen of a prominent Soviet economist, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences E.S. Vargi, urgent problems of capitalism and imperialism are investigated. It posed and analyzed questions about economic laws, the role of the bourgeois state and state-monopoly capitalism, about the metroperiaalistic contradictions and the war, about the role of the bourgeoisie in the national liberation movement, the relatively impoverishment of the proletariat and the working aristocracy.
