Winged words are figurative expressions that have so organically grown into our daily speech that, having pronounced them, we very often do not even think where they came to our language. Meanwhile, the source of many of them is the Holy Scriptures. The compiler of the proposed publication, without claiming the role of the discoverer, collected about three hundred winged expressions that have biblical texts with their source. Habitually pronouncing these phrases, let's not forget that initially they are hidden or rewritten quotes from a book of books, which for every Christian is a source of eternal, enduring truths.
