The manual was published as part of the educational and methodological set to the program "From Birth to School".

This manual presents general theoretical approaches to the problem of moral education of preschool children, materials are given for ethical conversations with children of 4–7 years old. Ethical conversations are united by topics that reveal certain aspects of moral relations.

Ethical conversations are built in the format of a developing dialogue based on literary works available to preschoolers.

Discussion of problem situations in works allows children to join the moral foundations and traditional values ​​of our society. Reasoning, expressing their opinion, trying to understand and explain the actions of the heroes, children learn to correctly evaluate the behavior - their own and peers, strive to follow a positive example.
