What is good? What is happiness? What is there a virtue?

What is freedom of will and who is responsible for the fate and well -being of a person?

Three works dedicated to ethics have reached us: “Evdemova Ethics”, “Nicomakhov Ethics” and “Big Ethics”.

The question of the belonging of these works to Aristotle is still the subject of discussions.

The author of Evdemova Ethics was most likely Evdem Rhodes, a student of Aristotle, who possibly processed the work of his teacher.

“Big Ethics”, which is actually only a small treatise that briefly sets out Aristotle's ethical views, Written by a peripathetic - an unknown student of the philosopher.

and only about “Nikomakh ethics” can be said with confidence that its author was the great thinker.
