The monograph is devoted to the Institute for evaluating evidence in the English civil process. The work investigated the development of theoretical ideas on evaluation of evidence, the impact of the reforms carried out and ongoing in England on the principle and evaluation criteria was revealed, the features of evaluating certain types of evidence were considered, the content and value of the standards of evidence used in the administration of justice in English courts. Based on the results obtained, scientifically sound proposals for improving Russian civil and arbitration legislation were developed.
