Everyday views of the Kot Murra. Hoffman E. T. A.
The scientist Cat Murr, a descendant of the cat in boots, dipping a fluffy paw in the blink, writes about his hard cat’s life: about how he grew up, fell in love, fought on duels. Drinking a herring brine, he argues in his notes on science, composes sonnets and releases sarcastic remarks to people. Due to the error when printing, the story of a cat-writer is bizarrely intertwined with the biography of a talented dropister Johannes Kreisler, wandering from one princely court to another. Fragments of his biography from time to time interrupt the revelations of Murr.
“The everyday views of the Cat Murra” is a satirical novel, considered the top of the writer’s work, combining the romantic atmosphere, a caustic satire for the modern author Germany and thoughts of art. < /p>
