"Evil Flowers" Merilin Manson

Marilyn Manson - a phenomenon combining Yin and Yan of American culture - has a special status in Russia. As a result, there is a huge impact on Russian rock music, and primarily on the Russian rock poem. In the soaked decadence and mysticism of the bronze age of Russian poetry, Marilyn Manson acts as a kind of Baudelaire, aesthetic idol and ideological guideline, which was the French classic for poets of the Silver Age. Just like Baudelaire, Manson accepted the stigma of the God -fighter and the servant of evil and, just like Baudelaire, was not understood by contemporaries. The texts of Marilyn Manson are not only “non-boreism”, but also wonderful patterns of rock poetry: they can be read. This publication represents an attempt to poetic translation of works of rock poet at the level of the body of texts corresponding to its full discography and components of new “Evil flowers”.
