Evolution of emotions. Ekman P.
We have known since childhood that a person has come from a monkey. But, but what about human psychology, for example, an expression of emotions? Are our emotions inherited by us from the nearest ancestor too? Darwin argued that we cannot understand the expression of a person’s emotions without understanding emotional manifestations in animals, since our emotional expressions are largely determined by our evolution. Dr. Paul Ekman analyzes how much Darwin was right, how human emotions differ from animal emotions, and whether we have gone so far from the brothers smaller according to the evolutionary ladder. And why are the basic emotions of all people are similar, regardless of their race, nationality and education.
