Exiles of the Earth. Lori A.
1884, East Africa. The French astronomer Norbber Mooni arrives in Sudan with a certain secret mission. Its path lies in a distant mountain district on the outskirts of the Bayud desert through the lands of the Mahdists, who rebelled against the colonial power of Europeans on the continent. The scientist does not suspect that an insidious, deadly game is being held behind him.
The next volume of “adventure masters” includes one of Andre Lori's most famous books “Exile the Earth”. This adventurous and fantastic dilogy (often published as one big novel) was written as a kind of answer-Ommazh to the “Moon Dilogy” by Jules Verne, a friend and mentor Andre Lori. It is curious that a year after the exit of the “exiles”, Jules Verne decided to return to the heroes of his “lunar” epic and wrote a new, but already “earthly” novel about them.
