Experience in overcoming sorrows

The book “Experience of overcoming sorrows” is a narrative about the life of people who through suffering gained faith into God or strengthened it. They have different destinies, but, having met, they would easily understand each other. In sorrows and deprivations, whether it is their own weakness or illness of children, the death of loved ones or a misunderstanding of dear people, all of them discovered the light of God's love.

In the final part of the book, the thoughts of the Holy Fathers about overcoming sorrows were collected. Archimandrite Sophronius (Sakharov) wrote: “Do not fall into despair even with desperate positions. The pain of the soul is unstits, but from this pain the power of prayer is born.
