The book presents the works of two types - devoted to the scientific study of the psychotherapeutic process and the phenomenon of affection, as well as describing clinical cases from psychoanalytic practice. The topics of research reflect the author’s interest in the generation and functioning of the narrative in psychotherapeutic interaction and in the mental life of the individual. In the man’s narrative, the main components of his psychodynamics are manifested about his life, in particular, the ability to symbolize and process the experience gained. The possibility of constructing and reconstructing personal history is considered by the author as one of the most important factors of mental development. Clinical descriptions allow you to see how the patient’s narrative changes in the course of psychoanalytic work, what external and internal conditions are necessary for the successful implementation of these changes.
