The most famous work of Jan Larry (1900-1977) is the story "Extraordinary Adventures of Karik and Vali." In 1937, the first chapters of this scientific and fantastic story appeared in the magazine "Koster", and soon it came out a separate book.

The story was enthusiastically met by readers and critics. She was reprinted many times, and the film of the same name (1987) and cartoon (2005) were shot on it.
