You are an unusual publication, which is a collection of publications of employees of the Center for Extrapyramidal Diseases under the Department of Rmapo Neurology, which seemed to us the most important. Unlike the humanities in medicine, magazine articles, even conceptually or informatively important, live for a short time. They are read immediately after the magazine’s release, and then the main thing in their content at best is migrated in monographs and guidelines, contracting to several lines, and the article itself turns out to be the fate of the link, moreover, printed by the smallest print. Meanwhile, the value of some - non -operating - journal articles remains for a longer time from both a historical and scientific -practical point of view. New knowledge is far from always destroying old ones. Often they contain numerous grains of truth, which gradually accumulate and, melting, form a new scientific paradigm. In any case, they give knowledge that temporary volume that many latest publications are so lacking. At the same time, this is an opportunity to recall the glorious past, to assess the accuracy of the choice of scientific research vectors and clinical work, to present our work in the “interior” of international studies of extrapyramidal pathology, the stream of which has been growing rapidly in recent years.
