Krylov Ivan Andreevich - poet, writer, translator and the most famous Russian fabulist. Krylov’s fables have been familiar to everyone since childhood, and many expressions have truly winged. The main characters of his works are animals, their author endowed the shortcomings inherent in people. The fables raise honesty, courage, decency, hard work and expose flattery, stupidity, cruelty. The book included more than 50 fables, including the most famous ones: “Raven and Fox”, “Quartet”, “Martyshka and glasses”, “Dragonfly and ant”, “Elephant and Moska”, “Demyanov’s ear” and others.
