Fantasy Shanyin. Comp. Toroptsev S.A.

the great poet Lee Shanyin (813–858), who lived a century later, whether the descendants call “Lee Lee” and put him on a par with a brilliant predecessor. It is possible to characterize his work as a “barge”: emotional expression, bright imagery, uncontrollable fantasy, theatrical decorativeness. Commentators emanating from the “biographical method” - the bindings of poems to the author’s life conflicts - consider his works “mysterious”, but the unbiased reader sees that Lee Shanyin’s verses are pure and transparent. However, the “mystery” catastrophically prevented the process of translation of them not only into Russian, but also into English.

The real collection (about 120 works) should fill this gap, completely not adequate to the significance of Shanyin in the history of world culture.
