This story is based on real events that began in the distant 1908, when the Cossack convoy, accompanying the annual gold mining from the Bodaibinsky mines, was forced to change his usual route to Lena to an unknown path through the mysterious North Muysky ridge. The travelers had to endure a lot of adventures, fighting off the bandits and looking for the road through unknown wilds. The story of the lost gold became a local legend in a small taiga village, which after all the events that fell on Russia in the 20th century almost ceased to believe. But a series of tragic and mysterious incidents again reminded of its existence.
