The book “Farewell to Illusions” Vladimir Pozner wrote twenty -eight years ago. Wrote in English. In the United States, she kept in the list of bestsellers of the New York Times for twelve weeks. Posner believed that he would immediately translate his book into Russian, but, as he said: "It was too difficult to give me, I would wait a little." I waited a long time - the translation was completed in 2008. For three more years he was thinking about how to reflect these past years in the manuscript.
