This book is the fruit of the joint work of the Makovsky family and the tribute to the talented artist Tamara Aramarovna Makovskaya and her son, a famous lawyer and wonderful person Alexander Lvovich Makovsky.

The main part of the book is the memories of A.L. Makovsky about Mother written by him during his lifetime. Some chapters were compiled after the death of Alexander Lvovich by his daughter Alexandra.
