Dr. Johann Faust is not only the legendary personality, but also a historical one: a scientist or a magician-black manner, charlatan and a rogue who lived in the 16th century in Germany (the details of his biography remain unknown in the 16th century). There were records of the mysterious death of Faust, allegedly killed by a demon Mephistopheles. Under the pen of Johann Wolfgang Goethe, the medieval legend turned into a great tragedy about the goal of human being, about the search for the meaning of life.
