Favorite street. Vigdorova F.A.
The story “Favorite Street” is the second part of the dilogy (the first part is called “Family Happiness”) of the famous writer, journalist and teacher Frida Vigdorova (1915 - 1965). The story occurs from September 1, 1944 to June 1954. Its heroes changed - the experience of war, separation, losses made them more adulthood, more thoughtfully, both kinder and stronger. The eyes of the main characters - Sasha’s nurses, who does not pass by, of course, the sad “doctors' case”, and a serious, honest journalist Polivanov - we see what is happening not only in the family, but also in the country: in the hospital, at school, In the newspaper, in the village. Like “Family Happiness”, “Favorite Street” is a story about decent people, about a difficult life and about human relationships.
