Benito Perez Galdos (1843-1920)-a classic of Spanish literature, including actively participated in the political life of his country. Historical novels belong to his pen. We included two of them in the proposed collection: “Carla IV’s courtyard” (included in the Galdos cycle “National Episodes”) and “Harden King” (another name - “Golden Fountain”).

Haldos speaks of politics , about the social life of Spain, about the Catholic Church and famous Spaniards with a share of humor and more than exciting.
