On the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian writer Konstantin Dmitrievich Vorobyov (1919-1975), the voltage of his chosen works (the novel “Scream”, “Killed near Moscow”, “My Friend Momich”, “How much in Rakitny Joy” is published , “Genka, my brother...”, “Here came a giant,” as well as five stories). Whatever Vorobyov writes about - about collectivization, about the front, about captivity, about the Soviet publishing house - about everything he writes with the blood of the heart, with his fearless fearlessness. Therefore, for many years he was reproached for the denotation and he never saw some of his texts in his lifetime. Only in 2001 - posthumously - Konstantin Vorobyov was awarded the Solzhenitsyn Prize. And in 2009, in the homeland of the writer, in Kursk, a monument was erected to him.
