Oyngen Rosenshtok-Khussi (1888-1973)-an outstanding German-American thinker who has made a significant contribution to the various branches of humanitarian knowledge-history, philosophy, cultural studies, theology, religious studies, linguistics, theory and history of law. His concepts are largely close to the theoretical constructions of such “rulers of thoughts” of the XX century as M.M. Bakhtin, M. Bubert, F. Rosenzweig, P. Tillich, D. Bonheffer, X. Cox. The ideas of O. Rosenshtok-Hussi, who, during his lifetime, remained practically unclaimed, are now experiencing a real Renaissance, discovering their depth and relevance in the conditions of a modern cultural and religious crisis.
