for more than four decades, Viktor Konetsky (1929-2002) gave the sea, going from the fourth assistant captain to the captain of the long-distance voyage. In his prose, he combined the marginal realism of the hard, endless maritime work, with its anxiety of shifts, pitching boltan, constant tension, great responsibility for people, for goods-and inon-yellow open romance, very sincere, clean and the same Earth time. The past seas and oceans along and down, the author told about this with a fair amount of humor, simply, strongly, exactly - as a born master of his craft.

In that “chosen”, published by the 90th anniversary of the writer's birth, his story “Tomorrow's Cares” and two dozen stories were included.
