The plot revolves around the love experiences of the two sisters of Dashwood, dreaming of getting married to take an appropriate position in society. A story full of descriptions of the conventions of English society, duty, honor and love experiences also formed the basis of an excellent adaptation with the participation of Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet and Hugh Grant.
