Preparing the summer-autumn campaign of 1942, the German command activated the throwing of sabotage groups in the Volga region. One of the goals of Abwehr was the Saratov railway bridge - an important strategic artery connecting the rear with the front. To identify and destroy the dangerous enemy is entrusted to the unit led by Major Maxim Shelestov.

The operatives manage to go on the trail of the enemy group, which prepares the attack on the bridge. But at the last moment, it becomes known that this is just a cover group. The main enemy forces can strike at the object at any time...
