The collection included the novels of I. S. Turgenev 1854-1860: “Lockery”, “Correspondence”, “Yakov Passyankov”, “Faust”, “Asya”, “First Love”. The content of the book is determined not only by the chronological, but also by the internal connection of these works - the theme of love. Turgenev for a while, as it were, leaves a person alone with deep, original and eternal, finding in him an all -consuming need to love. However, the Turgenev novels showed how little a person is the organizer of his happiness.
