The arid summer of 1983 caused a terrible fire, which forever changed the fate of the inhabitants of the small village of Malinniki. He changed and firmly interconnected by strong Flemish nodes, determining many actions and decisions for years to come.

a few decades later in a quiet village, a trouble comes again: a seventeen -year -old girl disappears. For the investigation, a young and inexperienced district police officer is taken, who very soon understands that everything in this case rests on the events of the distant past.
