Early left without parents, Vyacheslav Skvortsovsky gets into the orphanage and, as they say, “gets on the criminal path”, but a meeting with the police officer Arseniy Matoshin, a friend and colleague of Father Vyacheslav, who died in a civil war, sharply changes his fate. Skvortsovsky goes to the front. The future senior lieutenant and commander of the intelligence company participates in the battle for Stalingrad, the liberation of Donbass, Melitopol, Crimea and the Baltic states. He was destined to meet the victory in the hospital, but even after the end of the war, Vyacheslav has to apply a lot of strength in order not only to survive, but also not to break, to remain himself.
