Flower seeds of calendula "Indian Prince", O 0.3 g.
Plants 50-60 cm high. Bright-orange inflorescences, with red spots on the reed flowers, large (7-8 cm in diameter). Flowering is plentiful, begins after 45-55 days from sowing. The plant is relatively unpretentious, photophilous, cold -resistant (tolerates frosts up to –5 ° C), non -drying, easily propagated by self -sowing. Seals appear after 10-14 days. The soil prefers drained, lime, medium fertility, tucked by phosphorus in the fall. Before mass flowering, they are fed with complex fertilizer (with an interval of 10-14 days). False inflorescences are removed. In dry weather, watering is needed. The plant is entirely phytoncide (repeling nematodes and other pests), for which it is crushed during flowering and shoveled with infected soil. It looks good in groups, massifs and mixborders, in prefabricated flower beds, flower beds and rackets. Widely used for cutting (inflorescences in water cost 4-5 days) and for medicinal purposes.
