A plant up to 75 cm high, pyramidal. The stems are strong. The inflorescences are round-flat, thick-crown, claws, with short inward and twisted petals of pink coloring, closing the disk of yellow tubular flowers, with a diameter of 7-10 cm. August-Sudyabr blooms. Used for flower beds and cut. The plant prefers an open sunny place, but also takes part. It grows better on light, fertile soils. Seeds are sown from mid -February to April. Astra seeds under optimal conditions retain their conditional germination for 2-3 years.
