Adult plants do not recommend transplanting due to a long rod root, so you need to immediately determine a permanent place for it. Successfully grows on any non -acidic soils - the acidity of the soil up to 6.3 pH. 

You cannot grow in swampy places and where soil waters are high. It is useful to introduce ground limestone, chalk, dolomite flour in small quantities to the soil. Adults are quite resistant to dry weather. But for spectacular flowering, sufficient hydration is required. Water directly under the root. It is recommended to make fertilizers two to three times per season. You can’t make fresh manure - the gypsophila does not tolerate it. 

gypsophila - a frost -resistant plant that is deeply rooted and therefore, as a rule, does not require special preparation for winter. Perennial gypsophilus is cut off at the end of autumn, leaving 3-4 strong stems at the root. Young plants for securement are covered with dry foliage or spruce branches in case of snowless winter or too much frosts.
