A fast-growing one-year-old grassy liana, reaching 2.5-3 m in length. A magnificent decoration of the garden, one of the best plants for vertical landscaping. Large (4-6 cm with diameter) funnel-shaped flowers of raspberry, pink, blue-violet and purple color against the background of bright green heart-shaped leaves look contrasting and very impressive. It blooms in sunny weather from July to autumn frosts. Heat and moisture-loving plant, prefers sunny, but protected from heat in areas with rich loose loamy soil.

Seeds before sowing are soaked for 2-3 hours in hot water or ground with sand. Sow either in open ground in May, or for seedlings in peat cups in April. Seedlings in open ground are planted in late May-June, without violating the integrity of the Earth’s coma.
