A popular biennial plant from the family of violets 25-30 cm high. It blooms abundantly and long from May to September. The flowers are large (5-6 cm in diameter), burgundy-brown with a border of various colors on the upper petals. The plant is moisture -loving, cold -resistant, grows well in the sun and in partial shade. To obtain plants blooming in the year of sowing, they are grown through seedlings. In case of an unbridle method of growing, flowering occurs in the second year. Used for planting on flower beds, rabbits, in balcony boxes and garden vases.
