Flox - a herbaceous plant, a representative of the Sinyukhov family (Polemoniaceae). In natural conditions, about 85 species are found. The stem can be straight, rising or creeping. The leaves are elongated, ovoid, lanceolate. The flowers of this plant have a strong smell and shape of the funnel, collected in complex inflorescences. There can be about 90 flowers on one inflorescence. The color varies from white to purple, violet, raspberry. They are afraid of drafts and direct gusts of wind. It is better to choose a place with a deeper arrangement of groundwater. Take a fertile, light, moisture and loose soil. For example, loams with weak or neutral acidity. Before planting, add organic fertilizers to the pit (compost, wood ash). Flower breeders recommend transplanting phlox every 6–7 years.
