Floxes - grassy perennial plants. The stems are erect, ascending or creeping, from 10-20 cm to 120-150 cm high. The leaves are solid, sessile, located opposite, sometimes in the upper part of the stem - in the next order. The flowers are fragrant, white, pink, red, lilac, scarlet, blue, karmin with an eye in the center, 2.5-4 cm in diameter, usually collected in shield-shaped or panicous inflorescences of various structures and sizes, less often single. Messages: prefer sunny, they prefer sunny ones. Cool places. They can’t tolerate hot areas. Honor: fresh, wet, loose, rich in nutrients, fertilized by manure. Convention: June-September.
