Fly with whims. Grabovsky I.
Jan Grabovsky (1882-1950) - a Polish writer, teacher, mathematician, ethnographer - wrote magnificent books about pets, full of light humor, good laughing, respect and a deep understanding of the habits, characters and moods of their heroes. The collection includes stories about the Fly dachshund, the puppies of Rex and Pucike, the cat Murlyka, the Gusyna Malgos and others, as well as the story “Tuzik, Red and Guests”. All works of Jan Grabovsky are built on the principle of “humanization” of animals. Their “internal monologues” and “dialogs” are ridiculous and touching, and actions and even pranks are humane and kind, especially in relation to children. Observation and subtle psychologism bring the books of Y. Grabovsky closer to the works of E. Seton-Tompson, D. London, V. Bianchi. The works of Yana Grabovsky are a real textbook reading for children of primary school age. The book will enjoy adult readers.
