This study is a continuation of the conversation begun in the book “First Blocade Match” (2018, Nestor-History). It was dedicated to the game, held on May 31, 1942. In addition to an attempt to answer the question of which match discovered the so -called “blockade series”, this book contained a statement about intent - the desire to describe in detail and systematically describe the football events of 1942-1944 that occurred in the besieged city. Now this promise is fulfilled. Before you is the result of several years of work on the search and analysis of materials collected in numerous archives, museums and libraries. Meetings with relatives of the Blockade football players helped a lot. Part of the information was provided by football historians in the correspondence.

The book is of interest to a wide range of readers and specialists - thanks to rare documents and photographs, as well as the presentation of little -known events that have not yet been covered in domestic sports literature.
