The book is designed to determine the Docainozoic fossil residues of plants and animals of the south of Moscow, Moscow and a number of adjacent regions - Kaluga, Tula, Ryazan. Descriptions of about 300 species of the most ordinary and characteristic fossils of the region, dating back to 23 different classes are given. The atlas examines spore and seed plants, sponges, intestinal, multi -shack worms, arthropods, double -leaf, gle -bearing and cephalopods, muccas and brachiopodes, acupuncture, cartilage fish and sea reptiles. For each taxon, color photos are given from several angles sufficient to confidently determine the object.
