The book is designed to determine the Docainozoic fossil residues of plants and animals of the south of Moscow, Moscow and a number of adjacent regions - Kaluga, Tula, Ryazan. Descriptions of about 300 species of the most ordinary and characteristic fossils of the region, dating back to 23 different classes are given. The atlas examines spore and seed plants, sponges, intestinal, multi -shack worms, arthropods, double -leaf, gle -bearing and cephalopods, muccas and brachiopodes, acupuncture, cartilage fish and sea reptiles. For each taxon, color photos are given from several angles sufficient to confidently determine the object. In addition, information on age -related dedication and frequency of occurrence is presented, as well as detailed morphological descriptions, comparison with similar forms. To diagnose large taxa, a definitive key is given in front of the descriptive part. The atlas-discounter is designed for students and teachers of universities of a general geological profile, museum workers, biology teachers of a secondary school, all people who are fond of the collection of fossils, as well as for students of school circles.
