Foundry in dentistry. Textbook. Mileshkina E.N.

The textbook is compiled in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary Professional Education in the specialty 31.02.05 “Orthopedic dentistry” with the aim of methodological support for the interdisciplinary courses “Foundry in dentistry”, which are part of the professional modules “Production of non -prostheses” (PM..02) and the “manufacture of begel dentures” (PM.03).

It presents the conditions of the organization of the foundry laboratory, materials science in the field of dental casting, the consistent stages of the production of dental casting and its defects. Questions for monitoring knowledge will allow students to objectively evaluate the level of development of educational material on the topics of interdisciplinary courses and determine the degree of their preparedness for classes and future professional activities.

The textbook structure includes illustrations, schemes, tables, questions and test tasks for Self -verification and algorithms for the implementation of key stages in the foundry, as well as the technological requirements for these stages.

The publication is intended for students and teachers of the "Dentistry Orthopedic" medical colleges.
