Four ways to forgiveness. Le Guin Ursula
The worlds of the Universe of the famous Haine Cycle Ursula Le Guin not so much amazing the imagination (although this is here with excess) as they make you think about the main, sometimes unsolvable problems that evolution and nature posing in the path of Ecumenical humanity.
In the novel “Deprived” (awarded the prizes “Hugo”, “Nebuula”, “Lockhid” and “Prometheus”) before us are two planets-twin, Urros and Anarres: one society is divided into two irreconcilable parts , on another, deserted and unsuccessful for life, immigrants are convinced that, only by combining efforts, one can improve the world and bring humanity closer to the future union of Ecumena.
In the novel “Four ways to forgiveness”, consisting of four stories, we find ourselves in a world where slavery is the norm and the adopted lifestyle. One of the stories, “Day of forgiveness”, was awarded the memorial award of Theodore Starjon and the Azimov magazine prize.
The novel “Interpreters” (Luscus Prize) transfers us to the planet AKA, a lively embodiment of a winged phrase that the road to hell is paved with good intentions and not all progress, especially imposed from the outside, is beneficial for the root inhabitants of the planet.
