In the summer of 1942, twenty -two -year -old Francia Rabinek arrived, a concentration camp and a ghetto in forty miles north of her house in Prague. This was the beginning of her three-year trip from Terezin to the Czech family camp in Auschwitz-Birkenu, to the camp work camps in Hamburg and Bergen-Belsen. After the British liberation in April 1945, she finally returned to Prague.
The Francy war is a discouraging story of an incredibly strong young woman who survived the horrors of the Holocaust and survived.
